1. Rental Agreement
By renting a vehicle from MoveMate Trucks, the renter agrees to abide by these terms and conditions. The rental agreement is legally binding upon signing or making payment.
2. Eligibility & Driver Requirements
The renter must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver's license.
A commercial driver’s license (CDL) may be required for certain truck categories.
The renter must provide a valid government-issued ID and proof of insurance, if applicable.
3. Rental Period & Extensions
The rental period starts and ends as per the agreement.
Late returns will incur additional charges.
Extensions must be requested in advance and are subject to availability.
4. Rental Fees & Deposits
Rental charges must be paid in full before vehicle pickup.
A refundable security deposit is required at the time of rental.
Additional fees may apply for mileage overages, fuel shortages, or damages.
5. Vehicle Use & Restrictions
The vehicle may only be used for lawful purposes.
Off-road use, towing (unless approved), or carrying hazardous materials is prohibited.
Subletting or unauthorized drivers are not allowed.
Smoking and transporting animals in the vehicle are prohibited.
6. Insurance & Liability
The renter is responsible for any damage or loss not covered by insurance.
The renter must carry appropriate insurance or purchase coverage from MoveMate Trucks.
In case of an accident, the renter must report it immediately and provide necessary documentation.
7. Maintenance & Repairs
Routine maintenance is the responsibility of MoveMate Trucks.
The renter must report mechanical issues immediately.
Unauthorized repairs are not reimbursed.
8. Fuel Policy
The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup.
A refueling fee applies if the fuel level is lower than at pickup.
9. Breakdown & Emergency Assistance
Roadside assistance is available for breakdowns.
The renter must follow emergency protocols as outlined in the rental agreement.
10. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations made 24 hours before pickup are eligible for a full refund.
Late cancellations may incur a penalty fee.
No refunds for early returns.
11. Termination of Agreement
MoveMate Trucks reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement if the renter violates any terms.
In case of violations, the renter may be liable for penalties or additional charges.
12. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where MoveMate Trucks operates.
By signing the rental agreement, the renter acknowledges and agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.
